Drawing on the range of experience Sam has across the sector she is able to support practices and teams in a variety of ways. From coaching and mentoring to more specific support, such as clinical governance. 

Coaching or mentoring on a one to one basis.

Either to discuss a career plan, map out the steps or simply be an impartial sounding board for you to talk through any challenges. Depending on whether you prefer to be coached or mentored the conversations will have a different cadence but this will be discussed during an introduction call. 

Investment: £80 per hour

Clinical Governance Support.

Working with your team to develop and embed clinical governance. Supporting teams to review, reflect and adapt where needed. Perhaps you want to introduce significant audits or consider how to capture patient safety events?

Sam has been involved in creating and introducing reporting systems as well as running quality training days.

Providing support to practice champions and working with veterinary professionals to develop their quality improvement skills.

Practice Standards Support

Sam spent two years as a practice standards assessor and has also worked with practices to prepare for their own assessments. Having worked with a range of practices, from hospitals to single site primary care she has a wealth of knowledge and experience to guide and support you on your practice standards journey.

Prep Call – £85

 A 1-hour Teams call covering:

• What happens during the assessment day
• Documents that need to be uploaded vs documents to have on the day
• Where to access the standards and support navigating Stanley
• The role of team members during the assessment

On Site Visit with follow up Call – £345

A 3 hour on site assessment, with written report and action points. Followed by a 1-hour Teams call to review and prepare for the assessment.

• Site Audit with PSS Core Criteria as framework
• Audit Report with action points
• Follow up call to review actions points

Further support can be provided, including additional calls, resource creation support, mentorship and coaching sessions.
